Data processing
This summary will be replaced by the full data processing agreement (DPA) before general availability.
Who decides what
Your organization decides who uses Teampeep and what goes into it. Teampeep processes that data on your organization’s behalf, to run the service. In data protection terms, your organization is the controller and Teampeep is the processor.
The data we process
The data we process includes:
- Email addresses of the people in your organization, so they can sign in.
- Which organization and teams each person belongs to, and their role in each.
- Your organization’s verified email domains and pending invites.
- Sessions, questions, answers, votes, themes and templates.
- Display names that guests choose to enter in named sessions.
- A record of facilitator and admin actions, such as hiding or merging an answer.
- Server and access logs, which include IP addresses, so we can keep the service running and secure.
In anonymous sessions, answers and votes are never stored with a person’s account. The privacy summary explains how.
What we use it for
Only to run Teampeep for your organization: signing people in, running sessions, and showing results to the people allowed to see them.
How it is protected
- All traffic to Teampeep is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Every organization’s data is kept apart in the database itself, so one organization’s query can’t return another’s rows.
- Nobody in your organization can see who wrote an anonymous answer, including managers and admins.
- There are no passwords to leak. People sign in with a link sent to their email address.
Deleting your data
Admins can remove people from your organization at any time. To delete your organization and all of its data, email support@teampeep.com from an owner’s address.
Services we use
- Sign-in links and invitations go out through Resend.
- The site and the app sit behind Cloudflare.
- Mail to support@teampeep.com is received through Resend and handled in a support desk we run ourselves.
The full agreement will list every service provider that processes your organization’s data.
